Manager In Training

A Manager in Training usually has previous experience that qualifies him or her to participate in accelerated training and fast track to become one of the company’s next General Manager’s.  An MIT may be assigned to one or to several stores in the area in order to obtain the training needed to become a General Manager.  As an MIT it will be your job to shadow the General Manager and often perform his or her duties in their absence.  Strong leadership skills combined with the ability to motivate and lead store associates are critical to your success.  Start your career today as a Manager in Training and you will gain the necessary skills, experience and business knowledge to advance your career at Buddy’s.

Credit Manager

The Credit Manager plays a vital role in assisting customers with their dream of acquiring ownership of the quality products leased by Buddy’s Home Furnishings.  A Credit Manager provides individualized attention to customers by managing the renewal process of any non-renewed rental agreements.  This position is responsible for managing the Accounts Department and achieving company standards, closing percentages and revenue goals. SharePoint Web Designer

Ability to develop, from scratch, a basic SharePoint environment - including home page, departmental pages etc. Ensure that the team has effectively gathered and provided the necessary requirements needed for effective development of sites. Setup security settings and permissions. General home page will include Quick Links / Reference information, Company Announcements / Culture, Searchable Information etc. Departmental pages will include Forms Depository, Calendars, FAQ's, Dept. specific Announcements.

Tier 1 Tech

This position involves projects and/or assignments requiring considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, plans, and schedules. Although there are sometimes problem-solving guidelines available for particular problems, there may not be existing procedures or instructions for those problems. The incumbent is on their own in solving problems and determining satisfactory solutions. Ability to work independently or in a team setting is necessary.

Tier 2 Tech

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving inbound customer service calls and troubleshooting customer issues with the goal of utilizing available tools to provide "single call resolution", while maintaining the utmost in customer satisfaction. A combination of being a good listener, articulation, patience, and possessing the ability to explain a wide range of technical concepts to customers of varying levels of technical ability, while maintaining a pleasant disposition. Act as a mentor and escalation point for tier 1 associates.
