Yay! Halloween is almost here! Even if you don’t happen to have trick-or-treat aged youngsters at home, chances are that you have your candies and treats all bought and ready to hand out to the little ones and perhaps jack-o-lanterns and other decorations adorning your yard.
Well, it’s time to join in the fun yourselves! It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make sure your goblin guests have a great time at your place. For example, move one of your sound system speakers closer to a window at the front of your house and put on a scary music CD. Alternatively, set your laptop computer up with an external speaker set in a convenient location where it will be heard by your guests and navigate to a streaming music channel such as Pandora. Put on Halloween tunes and enjoy the added ambiance.
Another easy thing to do is set up an outdoors area to hand out treats. Pull a chair or two outside and maybe one of the end tables or even a smaller coffee table. Throw a black or orange scarf over it and place your bowl of treats along with a jack-o-lantern or other decor. Now get yourself some sort of props as well. Almost all of us can at the very least find an old sheet to become a ghost or a witch hat tucked away in the closet. Make Halloween a fun night for all! Trick or Treat!
