There are numerous employment opportunities available at Buddy’s Home Furnishings. All Buddy’s store locations are always seeking ambitious, self-motivated people to fill various store positions. Our store positions include the following:

  • Accounting Clerk

Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).

  •   Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
  •   Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
  •   Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
  •   Investigates questionable data.

Qualifications:

  •   Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
  •   Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
  •   AA Degree in Accounting
  •   Requires 3 years experience
  •   Great Plains a plus

    • Store Manager

      The Store Manager is the leader of an individual branch location. The Store Manager performs a wide variety of job functions, directing and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional and profitable operations. The Store Manager is accountable for meeting company objectives and adhering to company policies.

      The Assistant Store Manager is the second in charge at the individual branch location. The Assistant Store Manager performs a wide variety of job functions at the direction of the Store Manager, assisting and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional and profitable operations. The Assistant Store Manager is accountable for meeting company objectives, maintaining company quality standards and adhering to company policies.

    • Account Manager

      The Account Manager manages customer accounts, satisfying company collection and revenue standards; performs inside sales and outside collections; helps maintain appearance of showroom; takes primary role in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may perform managerial functions or duties as assigned by store manager; demonstrates effective communication and reasoning skills and shows management potential.

    • Customer Service Representative

      The Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer in-store experience. The Customer Service Representative also answers the telephone and helps maintain and organize customer files, store records and promotional materials; ensures showroom appearance meets company standards and participates in outbound telemarketing to existing and potential customers.
